“Andalucía Trip”

Granada, Málaga, Sevilla and Córdoba 4 cities with Soy Erasmus Valencia From 24th to 28th February, 2022: 4 days and 3 nights.

We’re going to visit the south of Spain: Andalucía.

Andalucía, It’s an autonomous region that’s on the south of the Iberian peninsula and is the most populated area in Spain. Here you’ll discover new cities where many famous people were born.

1st day in Granada: Guided Tour – Alhambra – Free time – Tapas –Party

We are leaving just after midnight to be in Granada early in the morning.

In Granada we’ll be staying in the city center. We’ve chosen a place with a super central location.

We will stay 1 night in this city.

We’ll start our day with a guided tour of the center of Granada and see monuments such as the Cathedral (where are buried the Catholic Kings who unified Spain and financed Christopher Columbus). We will go through the streets of the Arab teahouses and see cavehouses.

In the afternoon (approx 15:00), we will have free time to visit the best jewel of the city, The Alhambra (optional), where the Muslim Court lived 1000 years ago, and we can still visit and tour the gardens almost as if time has not passed.

We recommend buying your ticket to the Alhambra in advance, as they tend to run out very fast, although there is the possibility of visiting the free parts of the Alhambra.

In Granada, we will eat TAPAS!!! What is more, with every drink you have a FREE TAPA.

Granada is the city where the art of Flamenco was born, so do not miss the chance to visit any Flamenco live show.

2nd day in Malaga and Sevilla: Guided Tour in Malaga – Free time in Malaga – Sevilla

The next day we will go to Málaga, one of the jewels of the Andalusian coast, where we will have a guided tour with explanations about the city and its history. We will have free time to enjoy this beautiful city and visit the Malagueta.

In the night we go in Sevilla, famous capital of Andalucia. It is the land of joy, grace and charm and is one of the most popular places in Spain. Its history, culture and architecture deserve admiration.

Sevilla was home to famous and “infamous” characters: while Columbus started the trip to discover a new world, the legendary Don Juan set out from Seville to conquer the hearts of women of her time.

We will be staying in a super central hostel. We will enjoy the unique atmosphere that can be found only in this unique city.

3rd day in Seville: Guided tour – The Alcázar of Seville – Tapas – Disco and Party

Next morning we will have a guided tour and see the Cathedral with its famous tower “La Giralda” (you can climb it), the Rio Guadalquivir and Torre del Oro which guarded the neighborhood of Triana, Plaza de España, the Maria Luisa Park…

Also there you will be able to enjoy tapas that you have never seen in Valencia and it’s famous Andalusian cuisine (pringá, carne Mecha,  orange wine…)

We will go and see the Flamenco show (book tickets from the coordinators!) and we will go out to the best clubs and discos de Sevilla.

4th day in Cordoba and return to Valencia: Guided tour in Cordoba Mosque – Back to Valencia

We will head towards Valencia, but with a stopping over in Cordoba with a guide who will show us their typical spots and we will get lost in its typical Andalusian streets and we can see the Mosque of Cordoba, a cultural heritage site and has over 1200 years old and was the second-largest in the world.

The city of Cordoba in the eleventh century it had become the largest and most cultured capital of Europe, it coexisted in perfect harmony Jews, Muslims and Christians. It was the birthplace of philosophers, scientists, artists and scholars. It is also said that from Córdoba come the most beautiful women of Andalucia.
