About the event
This Sunday we are going to two locations, Elche and Javea. Both locations are different, but they each have special sights.
Javea (also known as Xàbia) is a gem of a town situated on the Northern Costa Blanca. Javea has been voted environmentally near perfect by the World Health Organisation and boasts 320 days of sunshine a year. There is the Old Town of Javea where you can wander down ancient narrow streets. Many would argue Javea is the finest place on the whole Costa Blanca. We wouldn’t argue too strongly with this.
Elche has been famous for its Palm grove, also called Palmeral de Elche. Currently, in the urban area of Elche there are a total of 97 different orchards containing about 70,000 date palms.
