Cova Tallada or carved cave in English got its name because in the past it was a quarry from which they took the stones to build the center of Xàbia. 

Today it is a big visitable cave which is split in different chambers, some of which get filled by seawater and others don´t, so it can be visited just by walking 🥾through it or via kayak. Also you can go to swim 👙inside. The cave is located in a national park right at the seaside🌊 of the marine reserve Cap Sant Antoni. 

Like the cave is located in a national park it is not possible to go there by car or bus. The hike🥾 from the starting point is just about 1,5 kilometers, but it is NOT EASY, so it can take up to an hour to arrive. But maybe you can even see some Whales🐋, as close to the starting point of the hike is also a Walewatching station.
