We will start the day trip by taking a bus from Valencia to Xativa. Here we will visit Xativa Castle! Xativa Castle is one of the most beautiful castles in the Valencian Community, with lots of history and has been declared a national monument. So, this is a must-see attraction whilst staying in Valencia! The Xativa Castle is located on top of the Vernissa hill where you will have spectacular views of the city and mountains! Here you will be able to take some great photos and explore the castle.  

Then, we will head from Xativa Castle to Calpe. Calpe is a breathtaking town close to Valencia, known for its beaches, ancient history, and Peñón de Ifach. Peñón de Ifach is a 332-meter high rock and is a designated national park. We will climb easy part of the rock and you will have breathtaking views of the city, so another great chance to take some amazing photos! 📸 

This is a great chance to see some of the amazing parts of Spain in 1 day and to meet other new Erasmus students! So come and join! 

SCHEDULE:📆

 10:00AM: - 📍 Meeting point Mestalla stadium 

11:00AM: - Arrive to Xativa 11:00 -13:00 -Visit Xativa Castle

11:30 - Picnic * please take your snacks 

13:00 - Meeting point to take the bus to go to Calpe and El Peñon de Ifach

14:30PM: - We will have a Picnic in Peñon de Ifach Natural Park as this is a spectacular place for a Picnic (Please make sure to take your own food for the Picnic) 

15:30PM: - Hiking on Calpe's Peñón de Ifach or having free time in the city (up to You) 

16:30-19:00PM: - Free time to visit amazing places of Calpe city 

21:00PM: - 📍 Arrival to Mestalla Stadium

⭐️Before starting the trip we would recommend you to get   the APP  where you can find some useful info about the city and castle http://www.xativaturismo.com/app-ayuda/ 

⭐️Please, be sure you wear comfortable shoes ! some parts of the road we will need to go on foot. When we arrive at Xativa the road to Castle will take in around 25 min. Second road will be in Calpe will around 30 min up to the top . The roads are optional , you also can spend time at the main cities come to arrange time to the bus stop to get to Calpe or back to Valencia :) 

⭐️The entrance to the Castle of Xativa is NOT included ! Please, keep in the group before the entrance to be sure everyone in, the price is 1,2 EUR   

⭐️We will make 2 picnics - one on the top of the castle and second in Calpe . Please , be sure you took some snacks with you . 

⭐️Add your tickets to the phone with QR code for fast entrance. Do not worry if you have problem with opening the link or ticket. We have your registration , you can join the trip  

⭐️The bus will leave from Mestalla at 9:30 am to follow the schedule , please , come in advance to keep the road ! The meeting point is Mestalla Stadium , side Av. Aragon  

⭐️We will have time to take pictures , so no worries ! Also ,  photoshoot is included , please, do not hesitate to ask Andres and Elizabeth ( SoyErasmus Team ) to make unforgettable shoots !
